Kilmainham Gaol - Guided Tour

Access to Kilmainham Gaol is by guided tour only.

Please check your booking as tickets are time specific and cannot be transferred or refunded. Latecomers cannot be accommodated.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour time.
Visitors with tickets for the last 2 tours of the day should arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled tour to allow time to visit the museum/exhibitions.

Tickets must be booked online and are available to book 28 days in advance.
Any cancellation tickets for the day will be released online between 9:15am - 9:30am.

All visitors, including children and OPW Heritage Card holders require a ticket.

In accordance with the OPW Child Safeguarding Statement, children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Wheelchair users, visitors with additional needs and carers should not book tickets on-line. Please contact us in advance to arrange your visit: kilmainhamgaol@opw.ie

Groups and schools are not permitted to use the online booking system as per our Terms and Conditions. Please email kilmainhamgaol@opw.ie to arrange a group booking.

Please note that no third-party organisations have authorisation to sell tickets to Kilmainham Gaol
Tickets bought from other sites- including ticketing resale platforms -will not be valid and such ticket-holders will be refused entry.
